Anyone with money in a military credit union needs to consider taking action on this. According to the Military Officers Association of America (MOAA), America's military credit unions may be forced by the National Credit Union Administration to forfeit nearly $5 billion of members' capital to this bailout. This would put almost half of military credit unions into the red,
reduce loan opportunities, reduce savings return, and mean higher loan rates for millions of military families who depend on their local credit unions for essential financial services.
Now is the time to email the President and encourage him to stand up for America's military credit unions. If you agree, call or write your representatives and write to our cruel president.
